An Enhanced Accessible Transit Service is launching in Kincardine.
Saugeen Mobility and Regional Transit or SMART has partnered with the municipality to launch this service later this month.
This will come in as a pilot program aimed to improve transportation options for those unable to drive due to physical or cognitive disabilites and help them stay connected to essential services, employment and the community.
This service will operate Monday-Thursday from 6pm-12am and Sundays from 9am-9pm.
Fares are set at $2.50 per kilometer with a minimum charge of $12 per one way trip.
