The release says Nurse Practitioner Colleen Fowler has delivered comprehensive primary health care services from the Saugeen Shores Medical Building for many years. They add that Nurse Practitioner Elizabeth Care will be joining Collen to expand services.
Saugeen Shores residents who don’t have a primary care provider will be offered the opportunity to be a permanent client until both are at maximum capacity.
Transient residents or those that work but don’t live in the area will provided for urgent issues but long standing issues will not be addressed to non-registered clients and no controlled drugs will be prescribed to non-registered clients.
The VON Same Day Urgent Care Clinic opens Monday, November 1st.
To register for a same day appointment patients can call 226-909-1309 starting at 9am. They will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.
The Saugeen Shores Medical Building is located at 36 Grey Street North, Southampton.
