A false report has led to charges against a 22 year old of Kincardine.
On June 14th, South Bruce OPP received a report of an alleged assault at a business within Kincardine.
Police arrived and took information from the caller alleging they had been assaulted by a store employee.
Investigation and review of security camera footage showed an assault never took place and that the caller stole from the business.
As a result a 22 year old of Kincardine has been charged with Theft Under $5000 and Public Mischief.
The accused will appear in Walkerton court next month.
