Lucknow will be home for the Family Science Night taking place next week.
Running on May 29th from 6-7:30pm at the Lucknow Central Public School, the event is all about hands on learning and embracing your inner scientist.
Scientists in School which first began in the Ajax and Pickering area in 1989 acts to make multiple avenues of science available to all children in Canada.
Dr. Erin Westman, Senior Manager from Scientists in School says with this event they hope to showcase all that they can in science.
“I think we all know that when we do certain kinds of experiments or activities they might catch us or they might not. Not everyone wants to be a geologist and not everyone wants to be a rocket scientist and so we really try to emphasize variety, especially at these events” said Westman.
Family Science Night is being put on with help from the Township of Huron-Kinloss and Nuclear Waste Management Organization.
