FCC Executive Vice President and COO Sophie Perrault says that the Fund supports projects that make positive changes in rural communities.
She adds that giving is not just about making a donation it’s about making a difference.
FCC hopes all the community groups receiving funds will thrive and continue to do good work in their communities for many more years to come.
Two local municipalities are getting $23,000 in funding; the South Bruce Fire and Rescue are getting$16,000 to purchase safety and an electronic extraction tool and the Township of Huron-Kinloss are getting $7,000 to purchase emergency efficient equipment and a door, cooler, lighting an exhaust venting for the community arena kitchen.
