They along with members of the drug unit and criminal investigations branch executed search warrants at two homes and four vehicles as part of a drug trafficking investigation.
One of the vehicles was stopped by police in the 1100 block of 3rd Avenue East on Tuesday where a man was taken into custody.
Officers were able to seize 127 grams of fentanyl, 33 grams of methamphetamine, plus unknown quantities of cocaine, heroin, and oxycodone with a total street value of close to $64,975.
They say the amount of fentanyl seized would have produced over 1,200 lethal doses.
Police also found $7,000 in cash, and a taser.
A 45-year-old man from Owen Sound is facing charges stemming from this investigation as well as violating a release order on another drug trafficking charge.
He is being held until his next court appearance Friday in Owen Sound.
