A 52 year old is facing weapons charges after a firearm was recovered in Mississauga.
On January 15th Huron County OPP received information from Peel Regional Police of a handgun registered to someone in Huron East found in the city.
Investigators located the owner who was arrested.
The 52 year old of Huron East has been charged with Careless Storage of a Firearm and Not Reporting a Lost Firearm or Weapon.
The accused will appear in court next month.
