The first batch of at risk turtle eggs have been collected by the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority.
The eggs were collected from the Woodlands Links Golf Course in Clinton which were laid in a high traffic and readily exposed area moving crews to incubating them in house.
This will allow the conservation authority to ensure the hatchlings avoid the risks associated with their location on the golf course.
