Kicking into Canada Day weekend, Ontario is offering free fishing from June 28th-July 6th.
During these dates, everyone across the province can take part in fishing at no cost with Mike Harris, Minister of Natural Resources saying this week will be the perfect chance to gather with friends and family and reel in new experiences and explore great fishing opportunities.
Those fishing are reminded all conservation licence and catch and size limits will be enforced.
This Family Fishing Week marks the fourth and final period for Canadian residents to fish for free this year.
