Work needs to be done at the Knox Presbyterian Church for their elevator.
The elevator which usually gets yearly maintenance and checkups is showing some signs of age and needs upgrades to the tune of $35,000.
To help reach that number, fundraising is well underway with a Fish Fry taking place this Friday.
Linda Stanley, Elder at the Knox Church says as Bruce Bar and Grill handles the Fish Fry, they are limited with their window for available tickets.
“We’re having to stop selling tickets at The Loop on Wednesday. There will be some tickets left available at the church office but since its a pre sale event we need to have our numbers for Bruce Bar and Grill this week” said Stanley.
There is plenty of events still happening at the Church with music over the summer and fall and a Remembrance Day service which Stanley says continues to grow every year.
