Goderich Ball Player Representing Canada at World Baseball Classic

A Goderich ball player is getting the chance to shine for Canada at the World Baseball Classic.

Brock Dykxhoorn, a right hander pitcher has been named to the roster, replacing Carter Loewen.

The 31 year old of Goderich currently plays with the Uni-President Lions in the Chinese Professional Baseball League.

Mayor Trevor Bazinet was able to chat with Brock who on his behalf delivered remarks to council. Brock in his statement penned back his moments of playing ball for the Goderich Seahawks, remembering fondly of the summer spent playing at what was then Ag Park.
