The Town of Goderich has issued a notice of vacancy on Town Council in the position of Councillor.
They have determined that they wish to fill this vacancy by appointment through a Call for Nominations in accordance with the Appointment Procedure.
The term for the position is from the date of the Oath of Office for the balance of the term of Council being November 14th, 2026.
The criteria of eligibility include being 18 years of age or older, a Canadian citizen, a resident of Goderich or own or tenant property in the Municipality and be not prohibited from voting.
Anyone interested in being appointed must complete an application in person to the Clerk’s office at 57 West Street during regular business hours until November 10th at noon.
