It’s more support for the Goderich Track Rebuild project coming off support from Compass Minerals and Unifor 16-0.
Both have pledged $4000 for the track rebuild, following a previous donation of $5000 early on in fundraising.
GDCI’s Track is deteriorating and at risk of being torn up and replaced with a dirt track and while the track and adjacent facilities have served the community well, it is time for upgrades.
A project to rebuild the track, improve the beach volleyball and basketball courts will allow a safer facilities, more opportunities for students and athletes and create a space for the entire community.
