A grant of $25,900 given to the Lions Head Legion Branch 202 has brought more life into the old building.
The grant, given by the provincial government’s Ontario Trillium Foundation was awarded in late 2022 to help fix the east wall foundation and install new flooring In the hall and extend the life of the century old building.
The new flooring will ensure a safer legion hall for activities and events by using non skid materials for the floor.
Last year, the Ontario Trillium Foundation invested more than $110 million in 1044 community projects and multi sector partnerships.
