The Lake Huron Coastal Centre has opened up the Green Ribbon Champion site for new applications for this year and 2027.
Those who have a property along Lake Huron between Point Clark and Southampton are being encouraged to apply with the coastal centre offering free site visits to provide advice on shoreline resilience, invasive species and the best practices for coastal property management.
By taking part in the program, residents can help to conserve and protect vegetation and wildlife only found on a dune environment.
