Grey-Bruce Health Unit add more Drop-In Vaccine Clinics next Week

The Grey-Bruce Health Unit announced additional community Covid-19 Vaccination clinics in the first week of February. In addition to these there will be two child-based clinics for children aged 5 to 11 that are planned for February 5th and 6th.

Appointments are still recommended to avoid wait-times depending on number of people walking in for vaccinations.

Those 5 to 11 are eligible for their first or second doses. It must be 8 weeks since their first dose in order to receive their second. As well it should be 14 days before or after other vaccines to receive a Covid-19 vaccine.

Those 12 to 18 years of age are eligible for first or second doses. Anyone 18 years of age or older can receive their first, second or booster dose.

Some individuals who are immunocompromised can get a third dose either weeks after their second or a fourth dose 84 days after their third booster dose.

Public Health says to confirm with your health care provider if you have any questions of eligibility.
