Kincardine Pride shared word of a donation from the Grey Bruce Labour Council of $350 recently.
The money comes in addition to in-kind contributions and various fundraising events held by the organization.
The Labour Council says that it stands firm on the core values of human rights, and has done so since the inception of Kincardine Pride.
VP for Bruce County and Kincardine Pride board member Dave Trumble sees the ongoing support for Pride initiatives locally, nationally and globally as one of the most significant steps in pushing back against the reprehensible and repugnant hate motivated attacks on members of the pride community.
