Grey Bruce OPP was involved in a recent multi-jurisdictional property crime investigation that has resulted in multiple arrests and a large recovery of suspected stolen property.
At the beginning of April, members of the Grey Bruce Community Street Crimes Unit began investigating a strong of property crimes spanning across several counties and jurisdictions.
As a result, police have arrested a 28-year-old male of Thornbury with charges including break of firearms regulations, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, mischief under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime under & over $5,000.
A 51-year-old male of Blue Mountains was also arrested with charges with similar offences.
They both have been held pending a bail hearing at an Owen Sound court.
Police recovered over $135,000 worth of suspected stolen property.
