Grey Bruce Public Health are seeing the public’s help in finding the owner of a medium sized dog that was involved in a biting incident in Chesley on August 17th.
The incident occurred on Chesley’s main street and saw a man bitten while trying to separate the unleashed dog from his friend’s dog as the two were fighting.
The dog that bit the man was possibly a blue heeler/shepherd mix.
GPBH need to confirm the dog is not infectious with rabies.
By doing so they can avoid the victim receiving the post-exposure rabies treatment.
