Grey Bruce Public Health Remind Residents that Some Public Health Measures Remain in Place

Grey Bruce Public Health is advising area residents that even in light of the Province lifting most of the remaining pandemic-related health measures that had been in place, like capacity limits in indoor spaces and proof of vaccination, some other measures remain.

Face masks must still be worn, with the same exemptions as before, in indoor public spaces, businesses and organizations. Those same facilities are still required to have a safety plan in place and passive screening is also still required by posting signs at the entrance of the facility to inform people how to screen themselves.

Physical distancing is also still encouraged by the Grey Bruce Health Unit.

People are still required to isolate if they have symptoms of Covid-19 or have tested positive for the virus. The period is at least five days for those that have been vaccinated or for those under 12 years of age for at least 10 days and also if not fully vaccinated.
