Grey Bruce Public Health to Focus Case & Contact Manager in Light of Increased Case Load

Grey Bruce Public Health issued a media release today advising the public that following Provincial Direction they would be focusing their case and contact management efforts going forward on high-risk settings like hospitals, ltc and retirement homes and other vulnerable care settings.

They advise that over and above that direction they will continue to contact all cases in Grey Bruce that receive a positive test result and do an initial assessment.

Individuals not deemed at high-risk will be referred for a follow up at the provincial level.

They say they echo the statement by Dr. Moore, Chief medical Officer of Health for Ontario when he said yesterday that as cases rise at a rapid rate, the provincial workforce will reach out to those who test positive and ask them to notify their close contacts directly.
