Grey County Council is joining thousands of municipal leaders in Ottawa as part of the annual Association of Municipalities of Ontario Conference.
Running August 16th-19th, the AMO conference is an opportunity for municipal officials around the province to discuss issues in their communities to provincial and federal leaders.
For Grey County, they plan to have two meetings with Ministry representatives including the Ministry of Education to discuss the Canada Wide Early Learning and Child Care program and meet with the Ministry of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security to chat about sustainable funding for rural serving campuses such as Georgian College in Owen Sound.
