The ground was broken Monday on a 41-unit apartment style housing project that will bring a mix of affordable and market rate homes to a 1.5 acre parcel of land along Eastridge Road in Brockton.
The development by the Bruce County Housing Corporation will feature a range of 1, two and 3 bedroom units.
The project builds on the success of BCHC’s most recent development in Kincardine.
The latest development will offer rental rates which are affordable for modest income households and are a vital step towards addressing housing needs for workers in health care, skilled trades, child care, serve industries as well as other essential sectors.
