Wellington County, Grey County and the City of Owen Sound will see the Guelph-Owen Sound Transportation Bus Service has been extended to August 31st.
This extension is being supported by funding contributions from the Provincial government through the Ontario Transit Investment Fund as well as Wellington and Grey Counties which will ensure uninterrupted service riders across the region.
The bus service connects Owen Sound and Guelph with stops in Chatsworth, Williamsford, Durham, Mount Forest, Arthur, Fergus and Elora.
The extension builds on the success of the original program, which was initially funded through the Province of Ontario’s Community Transportation Grant Program.
