Hanover Police have charged an 18-year-old male of Hanover after a stabbing incident late Wednesday evening.
Police arrived on reports of the incident on 11th Avenue between 6th Street and 8th streets.
On arrival they located a victim on the sidewalk suffering from several stab wounds.
The victim was taken to hospital in serious condition. He was later airlifted to a trauma centre to undergo surgery.
Their injuries are classified as life-altering but not life-threatening. The investigation resulted in the suspects arrest early Thursday morning.
A search located a knife thought to be the attack weapon.
The two are reportedly known to each other and the stabbing is thought to be the result of an argument.
