The Hepworth-Shallow Lake Legion announced via a post to their Facebook page that it has voted against including the Bruce Grey Music Hall of Fame in their planned rebuild of the facility.
Issues brought up in the post include a lack spare room as the new Legion will probably be half the size of their previous building.
The Legion says it has limited funds to work with and also had issue with whether their insurance would be liable for Hall of Fame events.
The General Membership vote overwhelming was against having the Hall at the new facility.
They say they look forward to a new Legion and making it a place for their members and community to enjoy for years to come.
