The Christmas season kicks off tonight in Kincardine with the Hometown Christmas event going down.
Taking place on Queen Street from 5-9pm the street will be closed with businesses offering special deals, horse drawn carriage rides and fun for the kids.
The tree lighting will also be taking place for Hometown Christmas.
Amanda Goetz, Downtown Development Manager of the Municipality says events such as this are a great way to support local and just see what you can find.
“People wouldn’t believe the kind of things you could find in your small town, you don’t always have to shop online or go to the big city. This town is jam packed full of Christmas ideas.” said Goetz.
The lighting of the Christmas Tree will take place with the Mayor right at 5pm.
