Bruce County is holding a Household Hazardous Waste Collection this Saturday in Walkerton.
Running from 8am-1pm, the collection will be a the Bruce County Transportation Yard in town.
Residents are asked to remove their hazardous waste from their homes, garages and basements which includes paints and stains, propane tanks, batteries, antifreeze, fertilizers, fuel and pesticides.
Commercial waste such as agriculture and industrial as well as PCB’s, ammunition and flares will not be accepted.
