The funding comes from the Province’s Reconnect Ontario program administered by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport.
Thompson says that when we support tourism and culture in Huron and Bruce Counties, we are supporting local jobs and economic development.
Rick McMurray, Event Co-Chair for the Festival says that the funding will help sustain their festival going forward and ensures they can continue to provide a great not-for-profit festival that generates funds which in turn, get donated locally to a greater cause.
The Annual Music Festival marked its return this year after a 2-year hiatus and runs August 25th to 27th.
