The Huron County Library is hosting a Pride Panel Discussion this evening via Zoom. The event from 7 to 8:30 pm will see a expert panel discuss the growing censorship of LGBTQ2S+ books and other materials.
The group will discuss why this is so damaging and what it means for Canada.
The guests will be Alec Mullender, PhD candidate in the Library & Information Sciences Program at UWO, and Michelle Arbuckle, Chair of the Freedom of Expression Committee at the Book & Periodical Council.
The virtual event requires pre-registration to attend.
