Huron County OPP is advising motorists after they charged a driver with improper headlines after they were stopped with purple headlights recently.
Police say the Highway Traffic Act only permits front headlights that are white or amber.
And on the rear of the vehicle the HTA stipulates they must be red only.
No other colours are permitted.
The driver was fined $85 but with all costs added it was a total ticket of $110.
