Following Shane Watson’s resignation on February 2nd, Huron Kinloss is still looking for a new fire chief.
This was brought forward by CAO Mary Rose Walden who recommended to bring in South Bruce Fire Chief Guy Gallant as the acting fire chief in the meantime.
Gallant served as acting chief for the Ripley-Huron Fire Department after Chris Cleave retired in September with Watson taking over on October 30th.
Gallant has now taken the role as acting fire chief while Huron-Kinloss continues their search for a fire chief.
