An officer was on patrol on August 26th just before 6 pm when they observed a car travelling at a high rate of speed.
Radar clocked the driver in excess of 50 km over the 90 km limit. During subsequent traffic stop the driver displayed signs of impairment and a roadside test was done.
Both that and a provided sample resulted in a fail.
A 22-year-old male of Central Huron has been charged with impaired operation 80 plus, stunt driving and operating without a valid plate or insurance.
The accused is set for a September 19th court date in Goderich.
