The Huron Shores Hospice is inviting community members out to build meaningful connections for coming Death Cafes.
These events act as welcoming gatherings design to encourage open and honest conversations around death and dying.
Participants will be able to share thoughts, ask questions and explore perspectives.
The first of these sessions is set at the Paisley Legion on April 14th from 10-11am. Death Cafes are not meant to be grief counseling sessions but informal discussions to help normalize conversations around death.
Jessica Daneluk, Community Engagement Coordinator says these conversations can reduce fear, foster understanding and help individuals communicate their wishes to loved ones.
