The Huron Shores Hospice has received a boost from the Baker Family Foundation.
Patricia and Stephen Baker have marked $50,000 towards the Hospice from the foundation.
Both Patricia and Stephen are the founders of the Virtual High School in Bayfield with this donation being used to help replace the heating and cooler systems which are showing some age after 26 years with the foundation covering the cost.
It’s expected this replacement will occur over the next month so the Hospice is prepared for the coming summer.
