The event, dubbed “We Stand with Ukraine” is being held on Sunday, June 19th at 3 pm at Grand Bend Place in Grand Bend.
Judy Maddren, formerly of World Report on CBC Radio, hosts the benefit concert.
The concert will feature internationally honoured bandurist Victor Mishalow and his bandurist ensemble.
Artistic Director of the Festival, John Miller, says Mishalow is highly regarded in his home country of the Ukraine.
“Victor is called an Emeritus artist of Ukraine. He even had a stamp issued in his honour in Ukraine because he’s so proficient with the bandura.”
The audience will also be linked by live video with musicians on-site in Ukraine.
