An incident in Hanover leading to a school going into a hold and secure has led to charges against a 48 year old.
On September 22nd, Hanover Police responded to multiple reports of someone who was running through residential backyards during the lunch hour.
This was followed by reports of a man seen waving a piece of 2×4 lumber on the JDSS school property.
Due to safety, the school went into a hold and secure though the suspect never tried to gain entry into the school.
Officers arrived at the scene with the man fleeing on foot but was cornered and arrested.
The 48 year old of no fixed address has been charged with Weapons Dangerous to Public Peace, Breach of a Release Order and Breach of an Undertaking.
