Joint Investigation by OPP leads to seizing of over 3,000 in Drugs, Weapons & Cash

A joint investigation by the Huron-Perth and Grey Bruce OPP Community Street Crimes Unit, as well as the West Region Emergency Response Team, Bail Support and West Region K9 unit has resulted in the seizure of illegal drugs, weapons, cash and stolen property with a value over $123,000.

On Tuesday, September 10th police attended a rural address ON Huron-Bruce Road. While there one suspect attempted to evade police by driving into a farmers field.

A second was found in possession of a stolen vehicle and arrested.

Other stolen items recovered include an enclosed trailer, snowmobile, crossbows, compound bows and ammunition.

A 40-year-old male of South Bruce faces multiple weapons related, dangerous operation and failure to comply with probation charges.

A 45-year-old male of South Bruce faces multiple possession of stolen property, altering a VIN and possession of prohibited weapons & ammunition charges.

The suspects are being held for bail hearings in Goderich.
