Kincardine Airport expecting Dozens of Planes Wednesday Morning

There will be a lot of activity at Kincardine Airport tomorrow thanks to a group that is taking to the skies to explore the Province.

The group started traveling around the province as a way to get out safely during the Pandemic.

It now has grown to where 35 to 40 planes are expected to travel in from all over Ontario and parts of Quebec.

They will start arriving around 10 am, travelling into town around 11 and staying until 2pm.

Kincardine Airport Manager Stephen Rouse says there will be a variety of plans arriving.

“There will be every kind of airplane there too. From just your average 172 you take lessons in to stunt planes, the by-wing planes that have the 2 wings. Some of the rear engine planes, where it actually pushes the plane.”

In terms of getting around while in the area the Airport has arranged volunteers to shuttle the visitors around the area to check out the sites and enjoy beautiful lakeside downtown Kincardine.
