Kincardine community remembers Kenneth Jackson

The Kincardine Community showed its respect on Friday with a precession of vehicles in honour of the passing of Kenneth Jackson.

Ken moved to the area in 1971 settling in Inverhuron. With a dump truck and a backhoe, he started Ken Jackson Construction in August of 1973.

What started as a hobby for him, to do after working his shift at Ontario Hydro, turned into what Ken Jackson Construction is today.

It has completed a number of projects in the area including construction of Huron Terrace, and the reconstruction of Queen Street in 1995.

Over the years Ken was very generous with his time and money, sponsoring many local teams, events and assisting many social and service organizations.

He passed away on Tuesday, March 14th at the age of 83.

Full details of his obituary can be viewed at the link below.
