Kincardine council continues to look into this years budget and currently the tax rate for the are is at 6.83 per cent which equals out to $164.74 for the average residential tax assessment of $275,000.
Currently the operating budget is set at $27.24 million for many projects including the Station Beach reconstruction, Davidson Centre generator replacement, the replacement of the 1999 aerial truck and the Browns Hill Bridge reconstruction.
Council is expected to return to budget discussion on Monday.
