The Municipality of Kincardine is looking at the next steps of the future of the Bluewater Trailer Park lands.
In 2024, council determined the use of the lands as a seasonal trailer park did not align with the property’s original dedication for use as a public park, garden or walkway.
Council decided to terminate the existing lease to honour the original dedication of the lands with it being decided a three year transition period, extending the lease to October 31st, 2027.
As the end of lease approaches, the municipality is sharing with seasonal tenants and the broader community understand the decision, reasons behind it and transition timeline.
