The Kincardine Pavilion is celebrating its 100th anniversary with live music, dancing, birthday cake and refreshments on Saturday, July 1st and Sunday, July 2nd.
It was officially opened during the Old Boys & Girls Reunion in 1923 and for many years was known as the best dance floor along the shores of Lake Huron.
Now the Pavilion hosts a wide range of events including markets, live music, dances, weddings, meeting, family events and fundraisers.
Centennial celebrations begin at 2pm on Saturday with the Kincardine Community Singers performing the Beatles, followed by a ribbon cutting, remarks and refreshments at 4:30.
They continue Sunday with a performance and dancing to the Lighthouse Swing Band at 2pm.
