The Municipality of Kincardine is set to test its Public Alert Sirens on Wednesday, July 12th between 9 and 11 am.

The nine public alert sirens are owned by the Municipality and setup within 3 kilometers of the Bruce Power nuclear generating station.

The test is to confirm the activation and the function of the system.

The system is activated by the Municipality of Kincardine on behalf of Bruce Power and the Province of Ontario.

They will also be testing their Alert FM & Kincardine Alert (RAVE) system on July 11th. The latter is a text and e-mail notification system that you can sign up for at the link below.
