Kincardine is welcoming Alan Smith as the next Chief Administrative Officer who will start in his role on Monday.
Smith brings in over 20 years of municipal leadership across Ontario and British Columbia who most recently was the CAO for the Town of Kirkland Lake in Northern Ontario.
Smith has also help senior leadership roles in the Village of Masset and Elgin County and supported economic development initiatives with the City of Guelph.
Mayor Kenneth Craig says Smith’s commitment to effective municipal service delivery and collaborative leadership will support their continued work to serve residents and advance council priorities.
