Kites take flight in Lucknow this weekend

You could see objects as big as a school bus in the skies of Lucknow this weekend, as it’s time for their sixth annual Kites in the Field.

The two-day event begins Saturday morning in Graceland fields. Attendees can bring their own kites of any size, or purchase one there. There will be bubbles, candy drops and even night flying on Saturday evening.

Organizers Murray and Liz Irvin invite everyone to bring lawn chairs, a picnic lunch and enjoy the day.
