Labour Council Donates to Saugeen FN Fund Raise the Roof Campaign

The Grey Bruce Labour Council announced yesterday that they had donated to the Saugeen First Nation Fund Raise the Roof Campaign and they challenged every Union Affiliate to Meet or Exceed their Donation.

They say that the needs of the Saugeen First Nation remain as acute as ever. Food security and healthy food options are two of the greatest contributors to health and well being.

The Labour Council adds in the release that not only will Labour lead the recovery out of the pandemic, but  they also chose to demonstrate a facet of leadership by approving a $500 donation to the Saugeen First Nation Fund of the Bruce Grey United Way.
