The family-friendly event will bring the community together to fight back against plastic pollution in Lake Huron. They say to stick around after to enjoy a free beach BBQ courtesy of Zehrs Goderich.
Event Coordinator Alyssa Bourassa says that the clean-up events are a great opportunity to give the beaches we love a deep clean. The last cleanup in Goderich saw 250 volunteers collect over 1,000 pounds of litter.
All volunteers are welcome to join in the Great Goderich Clean-up on Saturday, September 24th from 10 am until 1 pm at St. Christopher’s Beach.
