The Brucefield Fire Department spread word of the Mutual Aid Agreements betweel area departments after theycalled out to aid in a structure fire outside Londesborough yesterday.
The combination of resources from all across the County saw at one time had 22 fire apparatus from all over the county and 80 firefighters.
They advise that as resources are pulled from each area, resources are reallocated from elsewhere to ensure fire coverage continues for the area.
If you see fire trucks travelling through your area from neighbouring communities that is why.
The fire resulted in the loss of 2 barns but no injuries were reported.
