The Longest Day of Golf in support of the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation was able to haul in just $6000.
The day saw one person, Greg Graham play 100 holes of golf played in one day at Maitland Links.
Graham, the General Manager of the Maitland Links Golf Course started his day at 7am completed a total of 11 rounds of the 9 hole course in under 7 hours.
Supporters were encouraged to pledge a donation per hole which brought in a total of $5880.
Wingham Hospital Foundation Executive Director Nicole Duquette says having people like Greg and the folks at Maitland Links recognize the importance of our local hospital and then put that caring into action is incredibly meaningful.
